This project is a partnership between the Durham Housing Authority (DHA) and developer Laurel Street Residential. The department is partly funded by the City’s Forever affordable housing program.

According to Durham Choice, this redevelopment will replace 214 public housing units with 555 mixed-income apartments. Review the 4 Phases at the Durham Choice site.

Colmer Contracting, a general contractor out of Greensboro, NC is currently accepting bids from subcontractors for phase 2 at 143 Commerce Street according to PlanHub.
