A new hotel is being planned about 6 miles south-west from buys downtown Charlotte at 2209 Cascade Point Drive.
Site plans have been filed with the City of Raleigh for the new Holiday Inn express and GC bidding is already happening. The plans call for a 5-level, 100 plus room structure with all the amenities.
The architected is South Carolina based John P. Watkins. Phone 803-957-9004.The developer is Harry Singh with AGS Hotels. Singh has also another project at 6300 Triangle Town Blvd. near the Triangle Town Center mall called Residence Inn with 118 hotel rooms.

Bidding for the GC work on the Cascade Point project has already begun and one of the bidders, Ohmega Builders asking sub-contractors to turn their bids in by February 29, 2023. It is not clear what other general contractor is bidding on Harry Singh’s project.
