Championing urban redevelopment in the Triangle area, existing and proposed projects have built a development pipeline with over $1 billion in investments, plus a large number of players investing an equal amount or more in public and private development projects.

Some current or planned construction projects are the Capitol Boulevard Mixed Use at 506 and 508 Capital Boulevard, Wilder’s Grove Retail, Tower VI, Hodge Road Mixed –Use-Development, Walnut Trace, Hillsborough Point, Hilton Garden Inn, The Willard AC Hotel, Hargett Harrington. There is a 1,200-unit story-mixed used project called “The Weld” at the southern edge of the Dorothea Dix Park. John Kane and Merge Capital are building Park City South, a 9.7-acre mixed-use development.

Some other of the many upcoming projects are a 100 apartment complex on 1415 Hillsborough by David Smooth, a 8-townhome project by “Greg” Gala of DTR Properties, then a mixed-use development at 2812 Hillsborough, 311 N. Tarboro by Raleigh’s born and breed developer James Montague and more.

It certainly does not look like the building boom is going to cease any time soon!
